Delivery and Returns Information
We aim to despatch orders received after 10am the day after they are received. If you place an order before 10am we will do our best to despatch it on the same day. Goods are sent by second class Royal Mail and should arrive within seven working days. International orders are dealt with individually, but we aim to use the quickest means necessary.
Our postage charges are based on the current Royal Mail rates, plus a 95p charge for packaging.
Postage costs will be capped at £10 for 25kg of books.
You can check your order’s current status in your account. If your books have not arrived within a reasonable delivery time you can inquire into the status of your order by e-mail to Sales@ukiabookstore.com, or by telephone to +44 (0) 116 251 4629. Our office hours are Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 5pm.
When we ship books outside the UK, the recipient is liable for any local taxes or import duties that may be payable. UKIABooktore.com cannot take any responsibility for this and if the goods are returned due to unpaid tax the costs will not be refunded as the sale has been completed. Although the goods can be re-despatched with only a further charge for dispatch at the customer’s request.
Damage or error in order
If you have purchased an item from UKIAbooksore.com and it is damaged upon receipt please advise us within 7 days in writing to email@example.com. The time limit for return is 30 days for your convenience. The cost of the item will be refunded along with the cost of postage to you and the cost of return postage.
If the return is due to an error that we or our postage providers have made, we will gladly refund both the original delivery charge and the cost of return postage.
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return it to us in its original condition. To qualify for a refund you must first contact us in writing within 7 working days and then send the unwanted items back to us within 14 days. Upon receipt of the items in their original condition we will refund you less handling fees (20% of the price of the item(s)). This will also not include the cost of postage to you or the return postage cost.
A customer may cancel an order between placing the order and it being shipped. If the cancellation happens after the goods have been despatched then a refund will not be offered until the goods have been returned.
All returns should be securely wrapped and sent, with the original packing slip and reason for the return, to the following addresses: 147 Mere Road, Highfields, Leicester, LE5 5GQ, UK.
